This year, the Italian Physical Society holds the 106th National Congress online, 14-18 September.
The challenge it to organize a Congress which follows the scientific tradition, with innovative elements from IT tools.

The participation is free and requires a registration.
The opening ceremony will be online, on Monday September 14th, at 9. 30, and it will be followed by an Introduction from the President, Prof. Angela Bracco (Milan University and INFN), who will communicate a number of prizes and recognitions.
One of the winner of the prestigious Fermi Prize is Prof. Sandro De Silvestri from Politecnico di Milano.
Of relevance for the our Milan Physics Department is the prize received by
Sara Ziliani (PhD Student XXXIV Ciclo, Nuclear Physics) for the
2019 Best Communication - Section 1, Nuclear and subuclear Physics,
with the title “Lifetime measurements of the second 2+ state in neutron-rich 16C and 20O with the AGATA+PARIS+VAMOS setup”, which has reported results from the AGATA collaboration.
The Plenary Talks, chaired by the President of the Section, and the Invited Talks, chaired by the Presidents of the Parallel Sections, will be given "live" with the possibility of questions and comments:
