Giovanni L. Montagnani, PhD student at the Politecnico di Milano and associated at the INFN-Milano, was awarded the second place in the Best Student Paper Award at the "2018 IEEE Nuclear Science Symposium" conference held in Sydney from 10 to 17 November 2018 with the poster titled "Development of 3" LaBr3SiPM-Based Detection Modules for High Dynamic Range Ray Spectroscopy and Imaging Range", realized in the framework of the INFN-GAMMA experiment with Luca Buonanno, Marco Carminati, Franco Camera and Carlo Fiorini. This conference is a premier gathering of experts in radiation detection instrumentation with its applications in nuclear science, medical imaging, and space.
