A Workshop on Nuclear Physics
A workshop on "Nuclear Structure and Astrophysical Applications” will be held between 19 and 20 september 2017 at the University headquarters at Via Festa del Perdono. It has been organised by the members of the Nuclear Theory Group of the Physics Department and of INFN. The main topics will concern density functionals and their extensions, nuclear superfluidity and neutron stars. The workshop will also be the occasion to celebrate Xavier Viñas, a distinguished nuclear physicist who has just retired from Barcelona University.
