
The 12th International Conference on Isotopes (12ICI) will be held in Florence from February 15 to 19, 2026. It is one of the leading international events dedicated to the production and applications of isotopes in medicine, energy, the environment, and fundamental research.
The conference is organized by the University of Milan in collaboration with the National Institute for Nuclear Physics (INFN) and the World Council on Isotopes (WCI). It is chaired by Professor Flavia Groppi (University of Milan, INFN – Milan Section) and co-chaired by Dr. Gaia Pupillo (INFN – Legnaro National Laboratories).
The call for abstracts received over 280 submissions from institutions around the world. The program includes plenary, parallel, and poster sessions, with a focus on training and young researchers.
The conference will also place special emphasis on training and new generations of researchers, with special sessions for young scientists, educational initiatives, and opportunities for discussion between academia, research institutions, international organizations, and industry.
